From November 5 through 8, Rotterdam will be all about specialty coffee. Rotterdam Coffee Fest returns in 2026 with an expanded program, a new festival location at De Doelen, and four days filled with tastings, workshops, competitions, and networking opportunities. An event for both seasoned coffee lovers and curious newcomers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Following the successful first edition in 2025, Rotterdam Coffee Fest is expanding in 2026. The festival is expanding from two to four days and will bring Rotterdam\u2019s coffee culture<\/a> to various locations throughout the city. From local coffee roasters to the historic Doelen: everywhere, the focus is on great coffee, new discoveries, and the people behind the bean.<\/p>\n\n

Discover Rotterdam\u2019s coffee scene<\/h2>\n\n

On Thursday, November 5, and Friday, November 6, the festival kicks off with a program spread throughout Rotterdam. Visitors can participate in guided tours of coffee roasteries, photography walks, sensory workshops, and brewing masterclasses, among other activities. A major latte art throwdown is also on the program.<\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s a great opportunity to get to know the local coffee scene, discover new flavors, and talk directly with the people who work with coffee every day.<\/p>\n\n

Two Days of Coffee Festival at De Doelen<\/h2>\n\n

On Saturday, November 7, and Sunday, November 8, De Doelen will be the bustling centerpiece of Rotterdam Coffee Fest. Here you\u2019ll find, among other things, a Roasters Village featuring more than twenty coffee roasters, booths with specialized coffee equipment and products, a dedicated cupping room, and various workshop stations.<\/p>\n\n

Sample coffees from a variety of countries of origin, discover new brewing methods, and be inspired by talks and panel discussions on coffee culture, history, and sustainability. There will also be local food and pastry stands.<\/p>\n\n

And there\u2019s more to experience. Thanks to a new partnership with the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Netherlands<\/a>, the preliminary rounds of the Dutch Latte Art Championship and the Dutch Cup Tasters Championship will take place during the festival. Here, you can see up close how the best baristas and coffee tasters put their skills to the test. Admission to the SCA preliminary rounds is free.<\/p>\n\n
