How to Read Materials in the Archives
The duration of your membership depends on the type of membership you choose. Below, we clearly explain all the options.
1. Annual memberships: Basic, KTC Box, Friend of KTC (with annual payment)
Your membership lasts for one year. The first year is mandatory.
After that first year, your membership is automatically renewed for one year.
You can cancel at any time after the first year; your membership will then end at the end of the current year.
2. Annual “Friend of KTC” Membership with Monthly Payments
You pay monthly, but your membership is valid for one year. The first year is mandatory. After the first year, your membership is automatically renewed on a monthly basis. You can cancel at any time after the first year; your membership will then end at the end of your current monthly period.
3. KTC Box Annual Membership with Monthly Payments (4 boxes per year)
You pay monthly, but the membership is valid for one year because you’ll receive four KTC Boxes during that year (one per quarter). The first year is mandatory. After the first year, your membership will automatically renew on a monthly basis.
You can cancel at any time, but: your cancellation will always take effect at the end of the current box period (quarterly). This means you’ll still receive the box for the period you’re currently in. After that, your membership will end at the end of that quarter.
This prevents people from canceling right between boxes and ensures that everyone receives the box corresponding to the period during which their membership was active.
4. BASIS Monthly Membership with Monthly Payments
This is our only membership that can be cancelled on a completely monthly basis .
Your membership is automatically renewed every month, and you can cancel at any time . Your membership will then end at the end of your current monthly period.
You can cancel your membership at any time through your profile on our website. Go to My Account, open your membership details, and select “Cancel.” You will then automatically receive a confirmation.
With the KTC Box membership, your membership runs for each box period. A box period lasts one quarter. You can cancel at any time, but your cancellation will always take effect at the end of the current box period. This means you’ll still receive the box for the quarter in which you cancel. After that, your membership will automatically end, and no further payments will be charged.
For other memberships, the cancellation process works as follows:
Annual membership with annual payment
You can cancel at any time after the first year. Your membership will end at the end of your current membership period.
Annual membership with monthly payments
You can cancel at any time after the first year. Your membership will end at the end of your current billing cycle.
BASIC membership per month
You can cancel this membership at any time during the month. It will end at the end of the current month.
Delete Profile
Upon request, we can also delete your profile.
Please note: With direct debit, the cancellation button sometimes disappears within 30 days of your next renewal date. This is because WooCommerce is already preparing for the renewal at that point. In that case, please send us a message; we’ll process your cancellation manually, with the same effective date as if you had canceled through your profile.

During the first year, you can upgrade your membership to a higher tier at any time. The upgrade takes effect immediately, and your new benefit period begins right away. Downgrading is not possible during the first year, because all memberships are annual.
After the first year, you can either upgrade or downgrade. An upgrade takes effect immediately. A downgrade always takes effect at the end of your current subscription period. This can be on a monthly basis (for monthly payments) or annually (for annual payments). Until then, you’ll continue to pay the rate of your current membership.
For the KTC Box membership, changes always take effect at the start of the box period (quarter). You will always receive the box corresponding to the period in which you make the change; after that, your new membership type will begin.

We deliver the KTC box every year around the change of seasons—in March, June, September, and December.
Registration for the box closes 2 weeks before shipment. So, for example, if you sign up for a membership on December 8 and the box is shipped on December 16, you won’t receive your first box until March of the new year.
The Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. During this period, you may do whatever is reasonably necessary to evaluate the product. You are permitted to try out the product just as you would in a physical store. This includes removing the product from its packaging, unless the packaging is sealed. If you have done more than was necessary to try out the product, we may charge you for the resulting costs.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, took possession of the product. If you ordered multiple items with different delivery times in a single order, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received the last product or part. If you have agreed with us to a regular delivery of products, the cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you, physically takes possession of the first product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please send us an email—with or without the model form—to [email protected]. You must return the products no later than 14 days after sending the email.
We ask that you return the product in its original packaging as much as possible.
Refund
In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a refund of all payments, including the original shipping costs, as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you have indicated your intention to exercise your right of cancellation. We will refund you using the same payment method you used to make the purchase, unless you agree on a different method with us. You are responsible for the costs of returning the item. We estimate that these costs will not exceed €7.50.
