With spring slowly making its appearance and the days getting lighter again, it’s time for a nice fresh drink. This Yuzu White Choc Mocha combines the smooth, creamy character of white chocolate with the fresh citrus aroma of yuzu. The result is a light, refreshing iced coffee drink perfect for the first sunny moments of the year.

Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit with an aroma somewhere between lemon, lime and tangerine. Combined with espresso and creamy oat milk, it creates a surprisingly balanced drink: sweet, fresh and slightly sour at the same time.

Ingredients

  • 30 g vegan white chocolate flakes, or 10 to 20 ml white chocolate syrup
  • 1 teaspoon yuzu juice
  • 1 double espresso
  • 200 ml Oatly Barista Edition
  • ice cubes

Preparation

Brew a double espresso directly over the white chocolate flakes, or over the white chocolate syrup if using. Stir well so that the chocolate melts completely in the hot coffee.

Then add the yuzu juice and mix again. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the coffee mixture over it. Finally, pour in the Oatly Barista Edition for a creamy, fresh iced mocha.
