Dutch coffee and tea brand Simon Lévelt celebrates its 200th anniversary this year. To mark this anniversary, the brand is introducing a limited edition line with new tea and coffee flavors, chocolate bars, chocolates and, for the first time, a sparkling tea.
Three new tea blends appear within the line: Pistachio & Vanilla, Eucalyptus & Chamomile and Basil & Thyme. For coffee drinkers, the range also includes some specialty coffees with distinct flavor profiles, such as the Ethiopian Hambela Wamena with fruity notes of cherry, mango, passion fruit and pineapple.
In addition to tea and coffee, the anniversary line also includes a range of chocolate bars and chocolates combining tea and chocolate. The products are available exclusively through the webshop and in Simon Lévelt specialty stores.

NATRUE launches Barista pistachio oat milk for coffee
Pistachio is taking the coffee world by storm. In coffee bars, the nut is increasingly popping up in syrups, toppings and plant-based milk variants. With Barista Oat Pistachio, NATRUE is now also capitalizing on this trend. The brand claims to be the first to bring a pistachio oat milk to the Dutch supermarket. The drink is available at Albert Heijn and is also offered to the hospitality industry.
The variety was developed specifically for use in coffee. According to NATRUE, the combination of oats and pistachio creates a creamy texture and a smooth, slightly nutty flavor that goes well with espresso. The beverage should provide stable microfoam, making it work in cappuccinos, flat whites and latte art, as well as cold coffee drinks such as iced lattes.
According to the manufacturer, the gluten-free oat milk consists of five natural ingredients, with no added sugars or artificial additives. NATRUE Barista Oat Pistachio has a suggested retail price of €2.79 per liter and is now available at Albert Heijn.

New in the Netherlands: Hampstead Tea, the tea with the tiger
British tea brand Hampstead Tea is now more widely available in the Netherlands. More than twenty organic teas from the brand are on the shelves at Holland & Barrett, Ekoplaza and Odin, among others. Much of the range is also biodynamically certified.
Hampstead Tea’s origins are in Darjeeling, in the Makaibari Tea Gardens. This plantation is known for its biodynamic cultivation and rich biodiversity. The ecosystem surrounding the tea fields is home to birds, insects and even tigers, which have become symbols of the brand.
Hampstead Tea was founded in London in 1995 by Kiran Tawadey and since then has focused on pure tea without pesticides and with attention to fair trade. The Dutch range includes black and green teas, herbal and fruit infusions and wellness blends such as Sleep Well, Focus Well and Digest Well.
